AD Group Based Assignment of Portal Access Resources
Hello Everyone!
I've been trying to find a way to use AD group membership to assign portal access resources (links to internal sites mainly) and still haven't found an efficient way to do it. We're running version 11.4 HF5 with a full webtop with Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop and portal access links currently, but I haven't found a way to use the same access policy while restriciting visibility to certain portal access links.
I do see how we can do it with a Macro to perform an AD query and assign a full resource assign based on that but it seems we'll have to create a macro for every group we want to use to limit access and I fear that there will be users that will fall into the category of needing two different links but only one resource assignment will be applied thus the user will be missing any others they may need. I could be going about it the long (and not so dynamic) way so I was curious if anyone has done this before or knows of a better way.
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance!
Luis

In your advanced resource assign, when you define resource you have a condition you can edit to specify for example group based assignment. Thus with on box you can address different groups.
