Jun 11, 2009Active/Standby Configuration in GUI
I have one pool of 2 servers that have little traffic, but wanted to set node A to receive all connections unless the connections goes down and then Node B kicks in. If Node A becomes available it reverts back to Node A.
I have a round robin configuration with priority group activation:
Round Robin
Priority Group Activation: Set to less than 5.
Node A = 5
Node b = 1
What I am not sure about is members tab when configuring a node.
Do I need to set:
Node A to State = Enable
Node B to State = Forced Offline
Will this accomplish what I want?
Any thoughts, sorry I am a newbie.

Hi Songchin,
I think you need to set the Priority Group Activation to 1. Basically this setting is the minimum of nodes to be active according to their priority number.
Hope this helps
