Access to Cloud Control console feels sluggish via Load balancer

I setup a virtual server in F5 to load balance access to 2 real servers. The user is complaining that the access through the load balancer is sluggish compared to direct access via the real server console. Is there a way to quantitatively verify this? Or is there a load balancer setup I don't know about that could affect the speed.
