Aug 10, 2009about RTSP persistence
RTSP packets can catch session ID information, some documents mentioned that RTSP applying using session id persistence. But it seems that the same session ID of RTSP packet just exists in one RTSP session, so it seems the session ID persistence is useless. All the above is just my comprehension from RFC and maybe wrong. So what is the Scenarios that must enable the RTSP session ID persistence? and does F5 support this kind of persistence? thanks!
- Colin_Walker_12Historic F5 AccountWhile you're more than welcome to ask this kind of question here, keep in mind that this forum is designed with the intent to discuss iRules, iControl and F5 related products and questions. If you have a specific question about how we can help you with your RTSP needs, you might get more traction than just discussing the protocol as a whole and times that you might want persistence, as that's a much more broad and nebulous topic.
