CirrocumulusNot sure why is failing, maybe the GUI does other steps automatically, so you need to do all steps manually via REST. As an example, if you add an ASM policy to a virtual server via GUI, the GUI will automatic add the LTM policy that is linked to the ASM policy to the virtual server.
Read this documentation, as it has step by step examples about iControl REST.
