10 gig ports

Should I use 2 10 gig ports next to each other, or split them between 5-6 and 11-12?

    I guess you are referring to the i4600/i4800 series appliances? I would split them between ports 5.0,6.0 and 11.0,12.0. I can imagine that the slots next to each other share a single hardware board that could fail, however I don’t have any proof for this.
