10.0.1 upgrade path

Hi,

I am looking for practical info about upgrading from 10.0.1 to 11.6.0HF4. I am a bit confused by info in SOL13845.

In a table there is info:

Version you are upgrading to: 11.x, Versions you can directly upgrade from: 10.x

Then in Release Note: BIG-IP LTM and TMOS 11.6.0 there is section saying:

Upgrading from versions earlier than 10.1.0
You cannot roll forward a configuration directly to this version from BIG-IP version 4.x,
or from BIG-IP versions 9.0.x through 9.6.x. You must be running version 10.1.0 software.
For details about upgrading to those versions, see the release notes for the associated release.

...and that is part I do not understand - is that mean that I can't upgrade directly (with config transfer) from 10.0.1 to 11.6.0HF4?
