‘Illegal parameter numeric value’ violation is getting triggered falsely

In our ASM setup we have configured a parameter setting as below     but when a user is giving parameter value as below , 'Illegal parameter numeric value' violation is triggered .Help us ...

Agree...its acting more like Decimal. Integer is as follows: The integer data type specifies that the parameter value is numeric, and can include only whole numbers. For this data type, you can specify a minimum value, a maximum value, and a maximum lengt
