Hi Guys, I would need your help on the below mentioned scenario. I am very new to the load balancer world so pardon me if i make any mistake in explaining you. 1) I am using F5 Load balancer and it must distribute incoming requests between one of the two Web server (Server1 and Server2). The LB must redirect users to the master node among Server1 and Server2. 2) At a any given point of time either Server1 will be master or Server2 will be master. 3) Master server can be identified by polling urls given below. The server which is master will give response as "master=true" and the other node will give "master=false". I am able to see open these URLs in the browser and the URLs open a popup which says "master=true" or "master=false". But not sure how these URLs can be configured at F5 Load balancer. Server1 url : Server2 url : I need advise from you all that how this configuration can be done.1.1KViews0likes1CommentPublish websites with redirect
Hi, would like some help making existing TMG configuration work on LTM instead. It's not very complex so we hope somebody could get us started. In TMG we have 2 rules for a website with an IP ACL for those who externally can access the web server. The rule listens on HTTPS and under TMG bridging it redirect to HTTP. The first rule is configured with: Publicname1 to published site1 The second rule handles direct connections and redirects also from site1, so it's configured with: Publicname1 and Publicname2 to site2 Can you help us how to make a similar configuration on LTM? The IP acl we already figured out can be done with an iRule and datagroup.260Views0likes3CommentsASM inline scanning
does anyone know if it is possible to use ASM with a general policy to scan traffic to many http servers without having to define all these as a virtual server? with 11.4 i don't see the option to attach a policy to anything (IP forward, performance L4) except a standard virtual server.424Views0likes6Comments
