Hi, I am facing the following error when I try to import a Virtual Wire enable BIG-IP device into BIG-IQ: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: tag 4096 must be between 1 and 4094 I know that issue related to VLAN Groups that requires the allowVlanGroup directive in restjavad.properties.json. Is there something similar to enable Virtual Wires? Thanks!314Views0likes0CommentsVLAN-Groups Self IP Assignment vs. Supernet
Hello all. I am struggling to understand two things regarding VLAN groups. The documentation provides two possible use cases: Grouping multiple VLANs into a container so the servers within member vlans see themselves rather within one VLAN Allow client and server to communicate when they are on the same IP range So I've got a issues regarding each of the scenarios above: Q1: If one VLAN 10 uses 10.1.2.0 /24 and VLAN 20 uses 10.12.3.0 /24, what would the VLAN-Group self IP would be? My understanding is that the IP address & mask should include both VLANs above! Does this then mean I need to super net the two? This could be tricky in some scenarios where discontiguous networks are being used? Q2: What would be a realistic use case of the second scenario?? thank you so much.242Views0likes1CommentBIG IP Active/Active with Bridge and Routed Mode
Hi Guys, If possible to set a cluster active/active with a routed and bridge mode? 01 traffic group in routed mode and another traffic group wit bridge mode? currently i´m testing and the solution only work with active/standby; in active/active the switches generate a broadcast storm. Could you share me links or information about that example? Best Rgds.248Views0likes2Comments
