winscp error
Folks, I have been trying to access some files from the box since we upgraded the code on F5 (14.1.0.6), can someone help me understand if it has to do with some settings on F5? if so, how can I fix this? Getting the below error - Received too large (1936094320 B) SFTP packet. Max supported packet size is 1024000 B. The error is typically caused by message printed from startup script (like .profile). This message may start with "sftp". Cannot initialize SFTP protocol. Is the host running a SFTP server? Thank you!
Disable HTTP OPTIONS method and Disable TCP Timestamp responses
Hi, So we run a penetration testing and we found 2 of our VIPs affected by these: a. Disable HTTP OPTIONS method b. Disable TCP Timestamp responses Is there a way to remediate this? I tried looking in the internet but: a. Disable HTTP OPTIONS method - i only see to change it globally on the F5 (probably will affect other VIP), is there another way? b. Disable TCP Timestamp responses - I can't seem to find a proper way to address this, is there a way? Hoping for help. Thanks!
BIGIP DNS - What configuration get replicated by Sync group
Can anyone point me at some resources that explain what is replicated among devices by configuration sync on BIG-IP DNS? It seems that things like listeners and DNS profiles aren't synced so just want to understand what is and what isn't replicated. thanks Paul
Anyway to trace VCMP host info from the VCMP Guest?
Hi Guys, got a question about VCMP guests. is there anyway I can determine if the LTM I logged in is a VCMP guest? and is there anyway I can find out the VCMP host info by access the guest? one way I usually used is to check the VLAN configures on the LTM, if the VLAN's are not being tagged or tagged to any interface, then most likely it's a VCMP guest since Layer2 is done on the host level. but is there any other better and more promising way to determine? and more important, if I found out the LTM is a VCMP guest, is there anyway I can chase out the VCMP host info from this guest? thanks a lot Marcus
relation between CVE numbers and F5 ASM attack signatures
I was wondering if there is a way to check if certain CVEs are covered by an ASM attack signature? For example for shellshock when you click on the attack signature in the F5 ASM you can see the CVE numbers. so the information is in the database but can this be easily searched somehow? so is there a way to search for a CVE number and get the related F5 ASM attack signatures somehow?
