So Jason Burns from Nutanix recently published a blog on the Nutanix Next community, which details how to install an F5 BIG-IP on the Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor. You can read it here. For those of you interested in deploying F5 BIG-IP Virtual Editions (VE) on a hyper-converged platform, I am happy to let you know that we published a new document. The Deploying F5 BIG-IP Virtual Editions in a Hyper-Converged Infrastructure Recommended Practices Guide was co-authored by Justin Venezia and me (OK, Justin did the hard work and I helped edit the doc). We wanted to provide you with some practical guidance on how to size, deployment, as well as tune and optimize virtual editions on hyper-converged systems such as Nutanix’s Xtreme Computing Platform or SimpliVity’s OmniStack.
