Disk partition _root_ has only 0% free

.config/tmp folder under root directory
I see a folder .config/tmp under the root directory, which has a lot of sub-folders with bigip config files . This results in a filling up the root directory and results in a disk full error when trying to save any changes (either using gui or cli). Need help in preventing the creation of these tmp directories under root directory and also like to know why this is happening.
LOG DISK USAGE STILL HIGHER THAN 80% FTER LOGROTATE ERROR
How can i correct,the log disk usage higher than 80% after logrorate and 24 times log deletion. I installed a virtual server, and have been getting that error since then. The service is in production and can't be shot down. Both appliances give bigd and tmm restart What can be done?
VE Extending Disk space
