I have two MySQL server behind F5 and i am using Priority group for active-passive so request will go to primary everytime until it's down. Question: primary failed and all my connection going to standby box - Good now primary is back - but still my client connected to standby DB ( because of persistent connection ) How do i force my pool member to tell drop all connection and go to new primary DB? problem is if some client keep writing data to standby it will create some kind of issue. force offline doesn't drop active connection2.6KViews0likes5CommentsHigh Availability - functions well, however peer device shows offline.
Hello Folks, I have 2 LTM deployed in HA, running over firmware version 11.2.0 However, one of the devices shows offline status in peer list. At the same time the device is in Sync, failover works well too. However in peer list of Primary device, I can see secondary appliance as offline. Anyone had experience similar issues before? What could be the possible and feasible solution? Regards, DarshanSolved1.1KViews0likes13CommentsStandby shows as offline in HA pair in version 12.1.2
Hello all, I know this topic has been discussed before but for older code versions and none of the solutions worked for me and I tried pretty much all of them. I have 2 3900 series boxes in HA pair. Network failover, port lockdown set to "allow all", boxes directly connected in HA vlan, no device in between. Upgraded from 12.0.0 to 12.1.2 and in the "Overview" page on the active box it shows the standby peer as "offline". If I failover to the other box it will again show the standby peer as "offline" from the new active box. Everything looks fine from the standby box "Overview". Both failover group and trust group show full sync, HA status on both boxes shows "in sync", no issues there. I tried multiple failovers, reboots from CLI, power cycles, changing port lockdown, even tried the process of forcing the configuration reload to no avail, still the same. Does anybody experience the same behaviour? I suspect this is a bug in the 12.1.2 code version.599Views0likes5CommentsConfig Sync Between Active-Offline Nodes
Hello All, I have two Big IP Devices working in cluster environment. The Standby Node is currently set to Offline. My question is, when I apply a change on the Active Node and then perform a config sync, will the config be updated on the Standby Node as well? Or shall I Sync after getting the node Online?409Views0likes1Comment
