So I am very excited to be headed to the NetApp insight event in Las Vegas next week and wanted to update you on some of the exciting recent developments in our partnership with NetApp. First, we successfully qualified our BIG-IP WOM with NetApp C-mode at the NetApp RTP facility in late September. This is of significant benefit to our joint customers who have made F5 and NetApp their standard platform for Application Delivery and Scale Out storage efficiency. Now customers have a means to upgrade to the NetApp unified scale-out platform while maintaining a robust data protection strategy. I will have a more in-depth tech brief coming out in a little while but for now check out the F5 WOM and NetApp Solution Overview here:
Secondly I will be giving a presentation at NetApp Insight on the topic of FlexPods and more generally how NetApp and F5 can make a complete, converged infrastructure solution. If you will be attending the Insight event please join me at the session VI-2-706 where I will demonstrate how F5 has partnered with our mutual partners to extend and enhance the value of FlexPods. It would be great to connect with partners who are looking to package private cloud solutions and will hopefully gain a better understanding as to how we have integrated our solutions with FlexPods.
Thirdly we have focused our solution partnership with NetApp on our top mutual channels and are starting to see real dividends with this project. Our partners in the Great North Scalar Decisions has just completed a series of lunch and learn events in Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary and have gotten a great customer response from the F5 and FlexPod story. We continue to see strong momentum with our west coast partner Trace3 as a result of our joint VMware View Solution at their Colorado lab and we are now working on a full blown FlexPod\Hybrid Cloud demonstration environment with one of our top federal channel partners. We have several other partners looking to package an F5 and FlexPod solution in the pipeline.
In case you are interested in any of the solutions work we have done with FlexPod reference architectures, Whitepapers for these solutions can be found here:
