I would like to inquire about the AWS roadmap regarding improvements to F5 Active-Standby failover speed.
When deploying F5 in an Active-Standby (A-S) structure within AWS, the failover takes around 15 seconds, which is relatively slow.
Architecturally, transition to an Active-Active (A-A) setup using AWS services like ALB or GWLB is the recommended approach. However, many customers prefer not to alter their existing legacy configuration.
The delay in failover speed appears to stem from AWS architectural limitations (such as API propagation delays or IP takeover processing) rather than F5 itself. Is there any AWS feature update or roadmap to improve this failover latency?
