how to add a subdomain

I am trying to add a site to our webservers

 

subdomain.mysite.com

 

 

We currently use mysite.com/subdomain

 

 

I think I would have to create a new virtual server and tie that to the webservers.

 

But what would the iRule look like?

 

Any help would be gratly appreciated!!!
