I am planning to take the ccna exam soon. I was wondering what materials did any of you use to pass the exam? And how long did it take to prepare for it? Also, I know boson exsim practice exams are very famous but but a lot of CCNA community members also recommend the Study4Exam practice test. It is considered harder than the actual exam. Has anyone tried it?

Hi Charlie,
You do realize this is not a Cisco community, right?
But... best wishes on your CCNA attempt. I did it myself a long long time ago, and at that time (honestly) my networking knowledge was more than enough. To be fair, I had been working woth Cisco routers and switches for more than 10 years when I did it.

I saw f5 networks on google and I'm new to networking field so I thought I might find someone here with Cisco experience. Thanks for the reply.

The best materials to study for the CCNA exam are the latest editions of Cisco's own books: Cisco CCENT/CCNA ICND 1 and CCNA Routing and Switching ICND2. We also recommend the “31 Days Before” series, also available through Cisco Press. Be sure to cover the practice questions and lab exercise
