# TACACS health monitor ?

Hi,

We are looking for TACACS health monitor, could you help us on this. I am unable to find any documentation on TACACS monitor to monitor NAC based solutions

You can use icmp/tcp monitors. If you need to login using a specific username/password, I am guessing you would have to come up with a script to complete the monitoring. See this [thread](https://devcentral.f5.com/questions/tacacs-health-monitoring).
