Hi Friends, I am working and preparing for a 101 certification and recently gone through a ExamStudio practice exam. Must to say that Dummy exam was even full of tricky questions. I have few queries where i am either confused / not sure or NOT knowing the correct answers and seeking all your help to get the correct answer for those questions. **Question-8** i hope correct ans is d), for example : let consider client ip as : 2.2.2.2 , VIP as 10.10.10.10 , pool member 10.10.10.200 self ip 10.10.10.20 if you disable Address translation and SNAT- AUTO connection will be as below : client side connection : 2.2.2.2 ---\> 10.10.10.10 server side : 10.10.10.20 ---\> 10.10.10.10 ( address translation doesn’t happen ) if you enable Address translation and SNAT- AUTO connection will be as below : client side connection : 2.2.2.2 ---\> 10.10.10.10 server side : 10.10.10.20 ---\> 10.10.10.200 d)     Address translation : Enabled Port translation : Disabled Source Address translation : Enabled. ---

I hope answer is A). curl is used to transfer the data to or from the server, also you can specify the curl -v -k GET telnet://x.x.x.x:port to check the services but the simplest way in mentioned option is nc. using nc /telnet you can check the services directly **Question-9 : Several users reports that an HTTP service delivered by a BIG-IP and located on 50.206.82.160 is not working properly.** Which command should be used to verify that the service is working properly. **a)     nc 50.206.82.160** b)     ping 50.206.82.160 c)      curl 50.206.82.160 d)     nmap 50.206.82.160 ---

i agree lees intuitive but tested with curl and works just fine: curl IP, i guess curl defaults to port 80 if unmentionned. the short output is html response code. wish that helped. Regards ---

Hello, it is mentionned in the question that the VS has pool members(more than one), i assume in that case that destination  (Address translation : Enabled NAT) in mandatory to do load balancing even if VS and pool members are in same network. i Think D is correct answer. Regards
