Trouble gettng Global Concurrent Connections with SNMP

Hello, I'm a bit new to F5s, and I'm trying to get some session metrics via SNMP.

I have not had any luck finding a global statistic for all my VS connections. The OIDs I have found on the net appear to not work. I have tried several different ones from and none of them seem to go at all. I wonder if they are outdated.

I have a pair of BigIPs running v10.2.1 software. I have been able to get some connection statistics for my virtual servers, so I know SNMP is responding as I would think.

  • you did snmpwalk against . OID which is LTM's OID but the error said soemthing about GTM's OID. i think there is something wrong on the NMS. is it possible to re-import or re-load MIB? or is there any setting which might be incorrect there?
  • I was able to get the hosting provider to give me a new download of all the MIB files stored on the F5. With the new batch my snmp appears to be working now and I'm able to get the stats I need.

Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it.
