AltostratusSync failed due to time difference
Hello, experts!
We are scheduled to work on OS upgrade.
In the event of a problem, when restoring to its original state through vm snapshot,
We are concerned about synchronization failure due to time differences between Active-standby equipment.
As far as I know, there is no problem with synchronization unless the time difference is large.
Could the time difference cause synchronization to fail?

Yes, time is important in synchronization because it has an exceeded threshold, and if it is surpassed the synchronization will fail.
To avoid this issue you have to configure NTP service.

Yes, if you have NTP server , better to configure it in both device and check if you have any issues. Link already attached by Sebastiansierra
