Pool selection based on dynamic content

Hi All,

 

 

I need to selec a pool (or node) based on IP and/or HTTP headers. The list of IPs and the value of HTTP headers need to be dynamically modified by a management application.

 

 

Is it possible to implement it in IRules? Is there Bug-IP v9 infrastructure apart from IRules, I could use to implemet this requirement?

    This would most likely need to be a combination of your management application using iControl (to alter the list of IP/HTTP Headers) and then writing the iRule to match the IP/HTTP Headers and load balance accordingly.
