is it mandatory to name management routes? I see a name default for the mgmt route. If we want to add a seperate subnet or host destination to use mgmt route do we need to name it
You do have to provide a name of some sort so it's important in the sense that it's part of the command. Any name you use for a route should make sense to you and those you work with so when troubleshooting it makes it easier to know what each route is for. Any route you add to the management interface routing table you do need to name it.

Ok. Looks like the command is working without putting the name. it is taking the destination network we give as its name if we do not mention name.
Ex: tmsh create /sys management-route 10.10.10.3/32 gateway 172.16.1.254.How can we modify the name
