How to change Active Directory authentication settings

I configured AD auth via the GUI, made a mistake, and now I am unable to edit through the GUI, and anything I change in the .conf file just gets undone whenever I save the config. Help?

    It isn't a permissions issue, I still have admin access via local fallback. It is a complete lack of options issue.
