Default cert

hi,

I am trying to update cert on BIG IP. Using the GUI it failed with an error, so I tried the procedure contained in https://my.f5.com/manage/s/article/K13579 however once thsat was finished, the config would not load using the tmsh load sys config command.

The cert will expire in a day or 2 so I need to know, firstly if this will affect traffic and secondly if it does how do I renew it.

thanks in advance, I know this has probably been answered before but I am under extreme pressure to get this answer and I am waiting for my account to have the correct rights and accounts assiciated.
