Cookie persistence and irules

I would like to change the name of the HTTP cookie the bigip uses for persistence. The names currently show up as Bigippoolname I would like to remove the name bigip. I know how to do this in the irule but I'm not sure of the order things happen. If I use an irule to change the name of this cookie in the reponse and then change it back in the request does this happen before the bigip uses these headers?

    You should be able to change the cookie name in the persistence profile:

     

     

    "Cookie Name - Specifies the name of the cookie that the system looks for or inserts."
