Sep 26, 2006I shouldn't admit this, but for some odd reason a thought occurred to me about this thread while I was sleeping last night. Yeah, yeah... I need some time off.
Anyway, as pointed out above, the SNMP trap mentioned is a default trap, so in theory all you should have to do is give LTM an IP address of an SNMP server. However, if you are running the latest LTM release, version 9.2.3, there is a bug that will prevent SNMP traps from working:

Easy fix, and it may not apply to you, but I thought I should bring it up. I ran into it a few weeks back, and it drove me insane for a while, so maybe this will prevent someone else from running into the same problem.
